George Foreman, legendary boxer, dies at 76

2025 takes another legend from us!

George Foreman, the legendary two-time world heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medallist, passed away at the age of 76. George Foreman died peacefully in a Houston hospital. While no official cause was given, his family stated that he was surrounded by loved ones.

Known for his explosive punching power and remarkable comebacks, Foreman’s legacy extended beyond boxing to include roles as a preacher, entrepreneur, and television personality.

Overcoming a troubled youth marked by poverty, Foreman’s career saw him win gold at the 1968 Olympics, become heavyweight champion, and later reclaim the title at age 45.

Despite facing personal and legal challenges, Foreman’s impact on the sport and society remains significant.
