Kathie J wants to discuss who made Valentine’s Day a holiday

Kathie J has been reading up on Valentine’s Day facts and she wants to remove someone from it’s history.  She learned that Valentine’s day started out as a 2 day feast for a few different martyrs,  St. Valentine being one of them. The time of year also coincided with birds mating and over the years the celebrations became more grand with the first “Valentine’s card” being a poem sent from a man in prison to his wife.

History says that King Henry VIII declared it an official holiday.  Kathie J wants to forget that fact considering King Henry had six wives and killed two of them. Not very romantic.
