Help name the new baby giraffe at the Denver Zoo

BB had her baby!  Congratulations to BB and Jasiri, they welcomed a healthy baby boy on March 7th and he is SO super cute!   The zoo’s Animal Care Specialists say that mom and baby are thriving.   The zoo has the indoor giraffe habitat temporarily closed to guests to allow mom and baby to bond and acclimate.  But, you can catch all the baby cuteness on their live stream here:  https://denverzoo.org/zootales/baby-bulletin-bbs-baby-is-here/ 

Here’s another cool thing, they need our help in naming the new baby giraffe!   For a $5 donation, you can vote for one of the following three names.   

 Kujali – means “to care” in Swahili 

Dagg – in honor of late giraffe researcher Dr. Anne Innis Dagg 

Thorn – a favorite woody food of giraffes
