Freezing temps and light snow expected for Broncos’ AFC Championship game

Denver Broncos fans should prepare for frigid conditions with temperatures below freezing at the 1 p.m. kickoff Sunday.
The Mile High City is about to experience an Artic freeze for 90+ hours beginning Friday, Jan. 23, and ending Monday, Jan. 26.
On Sunday, fans can expect sunny skies and cold temperatures during the game, with highs warming only into the mid to upper 20s by the late-afternoon after starting out with another low near zero degrees.
It’s going to be cold. Layer up. Drinks plenty of warm liquids and protect your hands, feet and ears from the cold.
Wear hats, gloves (mittens over gloves), thick socks and slippers, as heat escapes from your head and hands.
