First treehouse hotel opens in Colorado

Mar 11, 2026, 6:36 PM

All tree houses are not created equal. I am in love with the Master Treehouse tv show. I always hoped that one day I would own my own treehouse. My own glamphouse. Well, I never got my treehouse but now I can at least stay in one, and bring my whole family too.

Staying overnight in a treehouse is only 30 minutes away, up I-70 to a luxurious treehouse perched 25 feet up among the pines.

Juniper Lodge & Treehouses sits on 10 acres in Evergreen. After five long years of water court meetings, negotiations with electricians, and engineering challenges, the LaRocques owners have opened the first two of a planned eight treehouses used for overnight stays.

All the treehouses feature creature comforts like dining nooks, microwaves, mini fridges, pourover coffee setups, fixings for cocktails and plush robes.

In addition to five private suites, the adults-only retreat has an expansive deck, hot tub, fire pit, honor bar, and several cozy communal spaces.

The remaining six treehouse sites (one of which will be ADA-accessible) have utilities in place, and the LaRocques hope to start construction on those in 2027.

The treehouses can be booked from $675 per night, with a two-night minimum; lodge rooms start at $245 per night.
