Downtown Denver’s Skyline Ice Rink announces two-year closure

A popular downtown Denver ice rink will be closed for the next two winter seasons due to the renovations happening in the area.

This will mark the first winter in years that the pop-up Skyline Ice Rink has been shut down, and it’s because the first phase of the Skyline Park redevelopment takes place in a three-block area on Arapahoe between 15th and 18th. City leaders are pushing people to spend time at other downtown spots – like the ice rink at McGregor Square – until Skyline reopens in 2027.
