Long John Silver’s Is Giving Out Free Food For Talk Like A Pirate Day

Long John Silver’s is bringing back its Talk Like a Pirate Day deal on Sept. 19, according to QSR Magazine.
Guests who talk like pirates at participating locations can get a free piece of hand-battered fish or a Chicken Plank. And yes, apparently a simple “Ahoy!” counts, which is great news for those of us who are committed to free food but not community theater.
If you really want to go all in, customers who dress like pirates can get a free two-piece fish or chicken basket.
So, to recap: say “Ahoy” for a snack, show up dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow for a basket. Honestly, easier than figuring out what to make for dinner.
