Dollar Tree raising prices to $7.00

Mar 26, 2024, 6:39 PM | Updated: Mar 27, 2024, 9:11 pm

Remember the days when things were actually one dollar in the Dollar Store? We don’t either. The Dollar Tree, Inc. is raising its prices again.

Dollar Tree CEO Rick Dreiling said, “This year, across 3,000 stores, we expect to expand our multi-price assortment by over 300 items at price points ranging from $1.50 to $7.”

The $7 items will mostly be food, pet and personal care.

The Dollar Store is excited to add more items to its stores. The consumer is wondering if these are really $7 items they are adding to their store, or are they really $5 items that they are raising the costs on without saying it.

Will you still shop at the Dollar Tree?

Read more about it here.

Read why Dollar Store thinks their new customers make $125,000 annually and want the $7 items here.
