Denver’s newest soccer franchise has shared its vision for a permanent stadium, and it looks amazing!
The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise in Denver has announced a proposal for a 14,500-seat stadium. The facility will be situated on a 14-acre vacant site near Interstate 25 and Santa Fe Drive, just south of downtown.
The Santa Fe Yards, will feature the stadium and a recreational district and is scheduled to open in spring 2028.
According to Denver NWSL controlling owner Rob Cohen, “This will be the largest overall investment in a women’s professional sports team in history. We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to leverage this massive private investment to revitalize and transform Santa Fe Yards into a new hub of thriving community activity, a place for outdoor recreation, restaurants, retail, and for building connections with our community.”
