There are changes coming to Denver International Airport’s parking system. Starting on Tuesday, August 6th, DIA will be making changes to all parking systems at the airport.
DIA announced that their parking systems are being upgraded to an easy and more efficient system with “Flash machines.” The changes include consistent receipt printing and thermal-printed barcodes on tickets that will hopefully last up to 30 days in the sun without fading like the current parking tickets.
The changes involve swapping out equipment and will hopefully be done by August 22nd.
Drivers parking at DIA need to pay attention, because if you park using an old system you will need to leave using an old system.
Another change is that license plate readers will be upgraded as well.
DIA officials say signs will be posted to help consumers figure things out during the process.
