Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday. Remember to spring forward an hour at 2am! Or better yet, set your clocks before you go to bed Saturday night. A survey by Mattress Firm says that the average person needs 3.5 days to adjust to the time change. 82% of people will feel tired, groggy and irritable while adjusting. There’s more serious after affects too. Statistics show fatal car crashes temporarily jump the first few days after the time change. Especially on the following Monday. Also, there’s studies that suggest an uptick in heart attacks and strokes after the change as well! So be mindful, take good care of your self and ease yourself into the new time.
Also, remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors!
