This weekend the wait is finally over. Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, ‘It Ends With Us’ will finally hit the big screen starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
The 2016 bestseller is a personal project for Hoover, who says that the book was inspired by her mother’s life. Hoover says one of her earliest memories is her father throwing a TV at her mother and then her mother leaving and raising two girls. Hoover said that she knows her mother as a strong and confident woman.
Hoover has said that she wrote the bestseller to educate people on domestic abuse and help give people the courage to leave abusive relationships.
Hoover also says that Blake Lively is one of her favorite actresses and that she was thrilled when she found out she’d been cast as the lead Lily Blooms.
It Ends With Us comes to theatres Friday, August 9th.
