This might be the most extreme case of cold feet in wedding history. And honestly? I think this groom dodged a huge bullet.
I also think she is going to have a one on one with God about setting fire to his house.
Lenita “Tessa” Joy Moreno, 25, was arrested for allegedly setting fire to a Kaysville, Utah church the night before her wedding.
She was INSIDE the building helping set up with the groom and family when it happened. There were six people in the building.
Here’s where it gets wild. Earlier that day, she and her groom went to Ace Hardware to grab hooks for the ceremony.
While he wasn’t looking, she allegedly stole two to three lighters.
Investigators say the fire was started under a chair using the lighters and — I’m not making this up — a tampon.
A bystander put out the flames using water from the wedding decorations.
The damage? Over $108,000. She was charged with First Degree Arson among other things.
Oh and one more thing — she never even got a marriage license and lied about having one.
If this is how you communicate that you don’t want to get married… dude, RUN.
