Wait- it’s too early and I don’t have the money. Apparently airline prices don’t really care and we need to be booking our holiday flights now according to experts.
According to The Points Guy– holiday flights should be booked 1-3 months beforehand. That leaves us right around Labor Day. In fact TPG says right around Labor Day is the best time to book holiday flights.
His advice is to set price alerts (Hopper, Google Flights) so that you’re aware of any changes in price.
Here is our dilemma – flights are expensive and this timing is right around the start of the school year- also expensive!
