Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, known for their roles in the “Bill & Ted” films, are set to reunite on Broadway in a revival of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” in the fall of 2025.
Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the play follows two tramps, Estragon and Vladimir, as they await the arrival of the mysterious Godot.
Reeves will play Estragon and Winter will play Vladimir. Winter has appeared on Broadway in the 1970s in musical revivals. Reeves makes his Broadway debut with this production.
“Waiting for Godot” is known for its vaudevillian high jinks and existential themes. So I am pretty sure they are going to nail it!
