TMZ says Carrie Underwood is close to finalizing a deal to replace Katy Perry on ‘’American Idol’’. She would judge alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
Carrie’s Las Vegas residency allows for flexibility in her schedule to accommodate filming for ‘Idol.’ Billboard is saying it’s a done deal.
**They also say Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie are not signed…yet??
