Denver, CO – If you love the mountains in the winter but you don’t ski, life can feel difficult during the cold months. What can you do and where should you go?
A new survey looked at the best ski towns for those people that don’t ski and what else they have to offer. Lucky for Colorado, the state had almost half of the best ski towns for non-skiers. Activities offered besides skiing, food, places to stay and cost were all factors in the Hometogo.com survey.
Five towns in Colorado made the top 10 for best ski towns for non-skiers; Vail, Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, Durango and Crested Butte. Telluride and Snowmass came in at #20 and #21 on the list.
The number one ski resort for those that don’t ski? Not in Colorado, but Bend, Oregon.
