Bear cub gets inside Aspen Middle School cafeteria

The bears don’t know it’s not bacon. 🙂 The little bear didn’t get the memo about the taste of school food.

Employees of Colorado’s Aspen Middle School were shocked when they arrived to work on Monday and found a bear cub roaming around the cafeteria, hunting for food, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office.

Arriving students were immediately shuffled off to another building while Aspen Police officers and Colorado Parks and Wildlife workers captured and relocated the bear, sheriff’s officials say. Students were back in their classrooms by 9:30 a.m., according to school officials.
