Oh, fudge! This is a good one for holiday movie fans.
Peter Billingsley, the actor who played Ralphie in the Christmas classic “A Christmas Story,” is coming to Colorado for a special screening of the film. “An Evening with Peter Billingsley and A Christmas Story” is set for Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the PACE Center in Parker.
The night will include a screening of the 1983 holiday favorite, followed by a Q&A with Billingsley. He’ll share stories from filming, talk about the movie’s lasting popularity and give fans a fun behind-the-scenes look at one of the most beloved Christmas movies ever made.
If you grew up watching Ralphie dream about that Red Ryder BB gun, this feels like such a fun way to kick off the holiday season.
Tickets for the all-ages event are $54. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $100 and include a pre-show meet-and-greet, photo opportunity and autograph.
More than 40 years later, “A Christmas Story” is still one of those movies that just feels like Christmas. And getting to watch it with Ralphie himself in the room? That’s pretty magical.
