Colorado is packed with Halloween fun this weekend, including plenty of trunk-or-treats and boo bashes for kids. Looking for something beyond the candy bucket? Here are a few fun picks!
Emma Crawford Coffin Races
My personal favorite. Manitou Springs celebrates the legendary Emma Crawford with a parade, festival and coffin races that are weird, wild and internationally known. The parade starts at noon Saturday, with coffin races after.

Día de los Muertos at Civic Center Park
Denver Botanic Gardens presents this free community event from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at Civic Center Park. Expect altars, music, dance, food, artisan vendors, lowriders and a sunset procession honoring loved ones who have passed.

Pickled Pink Pickleball Tournament
Cheer on the teams Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Chicken N Pickle in Thornton. The event benefits Sense of Security and Colorado breast cancer patients in need.
