Denver Summit FC finds a new Colorado home property

Mar 27, 2026, 8:22 AM

Denver Summit FC has officially closed on the property at Santa Fe Yards, marking a major milestone in the club’s plan to bring a professional stadium to the heart of the city.

The acquisition of the industrial site, located along the South Platte River, serves as the cornerstone of the organization’s vision to revitalize the corridor. The project aims to blend professional sports with public greenspace, creating a community hub that reflects the vibrant spirit of Denver.

“This is about more than just soccer,” said club leadership. “We want to create a space that belongs to every Denverite—a place where our neighbors can gather, play and take pride in our city’s growth.”

The 14-acre property at I-25 and Broadway will become the second dedicated professional women’s soccer stadium in the country. The club faced challenges in securing the location, including a threat to move the team out of Denver if initial funding was not provided.

The ownership group plans to invest $150 to $200 million to complete the project, with the stadium serving as a centerpiece of a broader district to energize the surrounding area. The move marks a significant milestone for Denver Summit FC and women’s professional sports in the city.

The club expects to release finalized site renderings and a timeline for ground-breaking in the coming months. For updates on the project, keep it locked on KOSI 101.1.
