17 bowling balls stolen from Denver front porch

Mar 3, 2026, 5:11 PM

KDVR says Denver professional bowler Steve Gallegos recently had 17 bowling balls stolen from his front porch in Denver’s Bakers neighborhood.

KDVR reports the thief managed to haul off the balls undetected.

They weighed a total of 255 pounds and are worth $4,500.

Steve says he uses each ball for a different reason during tournament play.

He said he never knows which ball he will need and never wants to be with out one.

Only in Denver does a porch pirate bypass your Amazon packages and walk off with 255 pounds of professional sporting equipment.
