Use an apple to clean your car

An apple a day keeps your car in good shape.

The Sun says drivers are using apples to remove scratches and winter grime from their cars.

By cutting the fruit into slices or using the peels, the apple can buff out windshield and headlight imperfections.

The malic acid in apples helps cut through dirt and insects.

The thin film left behind also repels water, making driving in the snow and rain easier and headlights brighter.

This method with the apple and the malic acid, acts as a cleaner and creates a “lotus effect” (water repellent) that improves visibility by allowing rain to bead and run off, making it a useful, temporary fix.

Apple Cider Vinegar can be used to remove dirt and ice from windshields.

I think I am going to try an apple on my cracked windshield.
