Artificial intelligence is supposed to come make life easier, but it looks like humans are still tasked with the “busy” work.
According to a report, American office workers said that 51 percent of their day goes to “busy work,” like reading and writing emails, data entry, searching for files and pulling teeth to get the materials needed for your tasks. We also have to deal with calendars, meetings, reports, troubleshooting aging technology and filling out forms, like timesheets and expense reports.
It isn’t just boring and annoying, 85 percent of workers say “repetitive tasks” trigger stress about four times per week and are a top driver of burnout.
