Reservations for Hanging Lake open Monday, March 17th!

Starting on March 17 at 8 a.m., reservations will be available for those wishing to hike to Hanging Lake in Glenwood Springs. The trail, which ascends approximately 1,200 feet to the lake, underwent improvements last year to enhance its sustainability and resilience to water damage. The trail is anticipated to reopen on July 1, following its closure during the winter and spring seasons. Each reservation costs $12 per person, which contributes to maintenance and conservation efforts. The $4.5 million reconstruction project is designed to safeguard the trail for the next century.
