Two people were injured when a plane crashed in Larkspur Sunday morning (June 16). A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration said the two people were onboard a twin-engine Tecnam P2006T when it crashed in a field just east of Interstate 25 in the area of Spruce Mountain Road and Sky View Lane around 7:45 a.m.
Before crashing into the field, the plane tried to land on one of the busiest roads in Colorado, I-25, and video caught that attempt…
Both people on board managed to get out of the plane before Douglas County sheriff’s deputies arrived. Sheriff’s office spokesperson Deputy Cocha Heyden said. “They had to be carried out through waist-deep water in a nearby creek”, she said.
