Where people leaving Colorado are moving to and why

Denver, CO – More Coloradans are leaving the state than ever before. Even though 1 in 8 people moving to a new state are moving to Colorado, many are still leaving. A new study found that slightly more people are leaving the stay versus moving into the Centennial state.
The study found that the three main contributing factors to leaving are: affordable housing, lower taxes and higher quality of life.
People leaving Denver are moving to:

- Chicago
- Boston
People leaving Boulder are moving to:
- Washington DC
- Boston
- LA
- Chicago
- Minneapolis
People leaving Colorado Springs are moving to:
- Tucson, AZ
- Dallas
- Atlanta
- Houston
- Salt Lake City
