Mother’s Day with animals, chocolate festival, Monster Jam and Rapids game | What’s Up, Colorado

Mother’s Day at Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary
Celebrate with brunch and time with rescued animals at Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary. Guests can visit select pens and pastures and hear the animals’ rescue stories from caretakers. It’s a calm, meaningful way to spend Mother’s Day. Get details here.

Colorado Chocolate Festival
Chocolate lovers can sample and shop Saturday at the Colorado Chocolate Festival at the Delta by Marriott near I-25 and 120th Avenue. Admission is $10. Kids 10 and under are free. Get details here. 

Monster Jam at Empower Field
Monster Jam roars into Empower Field at Mile High this Saturday. The main event starts at 3 p.m. A Pit Party on the south lawn lets fans see the trucks up close and meet drivers before the show. Tickets and info here.

Colorado Rapids Home Match
The Colorado Rapids host St. Louis City SC at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Tickets start at $29 on Ticketmaster.com.  Visit the Rapids website here.
