Free fishing, Denver Chalk Art Festival, Greek Festival and Vitality Walk | What’s Up, Colorado

Looking for something fun to do this weekend in Colorado? From free fishing and colorful street art to Greek food and a walk for a great cause, there’s something for everyone. Here’s what’s happening around the state. 

Free fishing weekend in Colorado 

Colorado’s free fishing weekend is back! On Saturday and Sunday, anglers of all ages can fish anywhere in Colorado without a fishing license. It’s a great chance to get outside, enjoy the water and spend time with family and friends. More info here.  

Denver Chalk Art Festival 

The Denver Chalk Art Festival returns for two colorful days of street art, live music, food trucks, drinks and family friendly fun. More than 200 artists will transform the streets near 12th and Bannock into incredible chalk masterpieces. More details here.

Denver Greek Festival 

The Denver Greek Festival is celebrating its 60th year! Enjoy homemade Greek food, dancing, live entertainment, music, beer, wine and plenty of culture at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral near Glendale. More info here.

Vitality Walk at Washington Park 

Support a great cause at the annual Vitality Walk benefiting the Parkinson Association of the Rockies. The walk takes place Sunday at 9 a.m. at Denver’s Washington Park, followed by the Vitality Bash with music, food, games and a beer garden. More info here!
