Labor Day weekend is packed with events across Colorado, from concerts and hot air balloons to the State Fair and Broncos fun. Here are a few things happening this weekend.
Garth Brooks at Ball Arena
Garth Brooks is bringing his “Blame It All on My Roots” tour to Ball Arena in Denver for four concerts over Labor Day weekend. Shows are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with an additional Sunday matinee.

Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off
The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off returns to Memorial Park Saturday through Monday. The free event features morning hot air balloon ascensions with more than 70 balloons, food and drink vendors, skydiving demonstrations, live entertainment, a drone light show and evening balloon glows Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Colorado State Fair
The Colorado State Fair continues in Pueblo through Monday. Events include carnival rides, 4-H exhibits, agricultural competitions, tractor pulls, rodeos, bake-offs, live entertainment and fair food. This weekend’s lineup includes performances from Jordan Davis, The Fray and Vanilla Ice, plus monster truck shows and a demolition derby.

Labor Day Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The Labor Day Half Marathon, 10K and 5K takes place Monday at Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker. The event is open to runners of all abilities, with each participant receiving a running shirt, finisher’s medal, chip timing and race photos.

Broncos 7K
The 14th annual Broncos 7K returns to Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday. Runners receive a Broncos shirt, finisher’s medal and the chance to race through the stadium and finish on the 50-yard line. There’s even a costume contest!
