Hiya! My name is Dash, and I am a sweet, smart little poodle mix. I already know a few tricks, like sit and stay, and these great folks at MaxFund are working with me on several more. I’m still a little puppy, and will need to continue my training so I can grow up to be the best boy. I am very well mannered, but have boundary issues sometimes – I want everyone to be my friend!! I love to play, and do a great job in my puppy playgroup. I am also a great walker, and do great with kids! But because of my age, unfortunately I can’t go home to a family that has kids younger than 5. Hi everyone! My name is Maxine and I’m a 4 year old German/Australian Shepherd mix. I was brought to the MaxFund because I was not getting along with the kiddo in my previous home. I’m a medium sized lady, weighing in around 40lbs.

I am brimming with Shepherd personality and energy! I’m very playful and fun, and I think tennis balls are the best thing since sliced bread. I’ll play fetch all day, if you’ll let me. I am also very smart, I know commands like “Sit” and “Kennel”. It will not be hard to teach me new tricks and talents. I’m already housebroken! With the proper training, I’d also be a great adventure dog. I’m still very active and need mental and physical exercise.

I will not be able to go to a home with kiddos under 10 years of age. I also cannot go to a home with cats (whom I think are toys) or dogs that are my size or bigger- I was unfortunately attacked by a big dog when I was young, and I still find them very scary and react to them.

Hiya! My name is Misty, and I am an almost-4 year old German Shepherd. I was found as a stray pup and brought into MaxFund by a very nice person. I’m so happy to be here and looking for a new family.

When I first came in, I was very shy but also very curious. In the time I’ve spent with the staff and volunteers here, I’ve really begun to come out of my shell. I am a super sweet gal, and I love my people. It takes me a minute to warm up, but once I’m comfortable, good luck getting me away from your side! I’m a little apprehensive around other dogs, so I’d need a bit of work to get comfortable with a dog sibling. I do know how to sit, and I’m also potty trained!

I’d really love a house with a big yard to play fetch in because I absolutely adore tennis balls. Plus, being a German Shepherd, I really need plenty of space to unwind and be myself. We sure are special, us GSD’s! A hike sounds like something I might like, but I’m definitely not one to hike all day and play all night. I like to be active, but I also like my downtime.
