Check back every Wednesday for our next bundle of furry joy from
MaxFund that needs a loving home.
Meet our furry friends…
Howdy, everyone! My name is Paisley. I am a super cute 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. You’ll notice that I have a short snout, which makes me very unique and causes me to snort! This as not caused me any health issues thus far, it’s just the way I was born. I am a golden brown, large-sized girl (weighing about 58 lbs.)
I found my way to MaxFund after being surrendered through no fault of my own. Since being here, I have been a very happy and friendly gal. I absolutely love everyone and am willing to give anyone hugs and kisses! I am a very loving dog who wants to be around my human friends all the time. I am also friendly with other dogs, big or small. It is unknown how I do with cats, but I can be tested by the staff here at the shelter upon request.
I am already potty-trained, do well in the car, and do well when alone in the house. I am an easily excitable dog who has a lot of energy so I need to go to a forever home that can match my energy level. I am not a 5-mile-a-day runner but I would love to go for walks and play around every day. It would be great for me to go to a home with a backyard for this reason. I also like to bark a lot sometimes so an apartment would not be a good fit for me.
Please call the MaxFund Dog Shelter at 303.595.4917 to make an appointment to visit me in person. I promise you will not regret it! Just ask for the amazing Paisley!
Hey there! I’m Lightning, an 11-week-old terrier mix. I was born here at MaxFund during a pretty big storm. I am a very friendly lady and love to snuggle! I was in a foster home for almost my entire life, so it won’t be hard to get me comfortable in a new home. I am still a just a baby, so you’ll need to be prepared for the things that come with puppy-hood. Whether I grow up to be a first-rate canine citizen is directly dependent on the effort that my new family puts in. It’s my ambition to be the best canine citizen ever, so I’d like a family whose ambitions match mine!
Do you have the time and patience to teach me the things I need to know? Will you be around most of the time, so I don’t get lonely or bored? Will you watch me carefully, so I don’t chew up your shoes, electrical cords, or furniture? Will you make sure that I’m never in a yard unattended? Will you forgive my occasional “accidents” ? Will you take me through Puppy Kindergarten? Will you give me the best in nutritious foods, so that I’ll grow up healthy and strong? Will you give me lots of walks and supervised play and exercise?
Most importantly, will you love me, forever and ever and ever? I know this sounds like a tall order, but believe me, I will make it worth your while! What are you waiting for? Call 303-595-4917 to set up an appointment and come visit me today.
Here is Lucia. She is about 2 years old and a lab mix and came to us because her previous owners didn’t have the time and resources to properly train her. She does need some training on behavioral work in the home, but it won’t be impossible to help her become a standup canine citizen.
