Waffle House adds surcharge for eggs

Ok today’s Daily Dilemma involves the egg shortage and a dilemma for consumers and businesses:

Newsweek magazine says Waffle House has added a 50 cent per egg surcharge due to the bird flu. The chain decided on this temporary measure to combat increased costs. Waffle House remains committed to using Grade A Large eggs in their popular dishes.

Survey: “Should restaurants be adding egg surcharges to bills or should they cover the cost of increasing egg prices because it’s the cost of doing business? What’s the worst surcharge that’s ever been added to one of your bills? Did you pay it?
