Village People’s policeman Victor Willis passes away at 74

The lead singer of the iconic band the Village People, Victor Willis, has passed away at 74, the day before his 75st birthday.
Village People announced on a post on Facebook of his passing, saying that he had a short but aggressive illness.
Village People are an iconic disco group known for their massive songs “Macho Man”, “In The Navy” and their biggest hit “Y.M.C.A.”
The group was known for the various costumes, of which Willis performed as the policeman or a naval officer.
