United Airlines announces daily nonstop flights from Denver to Paris in 2027

Bonjour, cheap(er) flights to France. United Airlines announced its largest international network expansion in company history on Tuesday, and Denver is getting a shiny new daily nonstop to Paris starting May 27, 2027. The year-round service will operate on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, connecting DIA directly to Paris Charles de Gaulle, no layover in Newark, no connecting in Chicago, just you and roughly 10 hours of wondering whether you packed enough for a European vacation.

Now, this isn’t Denver’s first direct line to Paris. Air France first launched nonstop DIA-to-CDG service back in July 2021 and currently operates the route three to five times per week. But here’s where it gets interesting for your wallet: more airlines flying the same route generally means more competition, and more competition historically means lower fares. United’s Patrick Quayle, the airline’s senior vice president of global network planning, called Denver the airline’s “fastest-growing hub” and said they’ve been investing in the market methodically. Translation: they want your Paris money, and they’re willing to compete on price to get it. Right now, round-trip economy fares from Denver to Paris are running around $1,300–$1,500 on United with a connection, a daily nonstop option could push those numbers down, especially during off-peak travel windows.

France is one of the most important international tourism markets for Colorado, ranking as the third-largest overseas market for visitors to the state. And apparently the love goes both ways, French visitors are especially drawn to Colorado’s wide-open spaces, hiking, historic railroads and Wild West history, according to the Colorado Tourism Office.

So whether you’re headed to the Eiffel Tower or a French tourist is headed to the Flatirons, there’s about to be one more way to get there without stopping.
