Georgia man finds stranger’s wallet, returns to owner with all original cash inside

Denver, we need to talk about Cameron Johnson, because this man is restoring my faith in humanity on a Tuesday.
A McDonough, Georgia, man recently lost his wallet at Walmart — which, honestly, Walmart is already stressful enough without losing your wallet there — and inside was $50 cash and several credit cards.
Cameron Johnson found it, tracked down the owner, and returned every single thing inside.
Then he refused a reward.
I’m sorry, what.
In a world where someone once stole my cart at King Soopers while I turned around for two seconds to grab my kid, this man found a stranger’s wallet full of cash and said “no thanks” to being compensated for his decency.
Cameron Johnson, we don’t know you, but we love you. You are the content we need right now.
Consider this your reminder to maybe be a little kinder out there today, Denver. Also, maybe put your name and number in your wallet. Just a thought from your friendly neighborhood mom.
