These Denver places are looking for volunteers, donations for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and many organizations are still looking for help so everyone can enjoy a holiday meal. While there are plenty of places to donate or volunteer on or near Thanksgiving, many Denver organizations are specially looking for help to either purchase Thanksgiving meal for others, supply a meal or pass out food on the holiday.

So whether you’re looking to donate your time, money or food, there are plenty of places that still need help.

1…Denver Rescue Mission is asking for frozen turkeys drop-offs or monetary donations to their annual turkey drive.

2. The Epworth Foundation…is asking for volunteers or monetary donations to feed 7,500 families this year. The Thanksgiving meals are in danger of being canceled for the first time in decades as they need to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars this week to continue

3  Project Angel Heart…they are looking for monetary donations to deliver medically tailored meals and a special Thanksgiving meal to severely ill neighbors.

4.   Mile High United Way…is asking for donations for Thanksgiving baskets for families

5….Ms. Betty’s Madsgiving…is asking for volunteers to prep, cook and deliver Thanksgiving meals, or for monetary donations to go toward the ingredients.

6… Simmons Foundation for Youth and Change, needs donations of either food or money for Thanksgiving meals.

7…Community Ministry’s is in need of food donations
