Tammy’s Top 5 Ranch Rankings for National Ranch Day!

Today is National Ranch Day, and this is a holiday I can fully support!  Ranch is my favorite condiment. No shame. I’m the person who will dip just about anything in it, drizzle it on whatever’s on my plate and quietly judge a restaurant by the quality of its ranch.

Because not all ranch is created equal. I can’t totally explain what makes one ranch better than another. Is it the tang? The thickness? The way it hits when it’s extra cold? I just know some ranch is forgettable and some are elite.

My ranch rankings (yes, I have them)

1. Texas Roadhouse
The undefeated champ. If I’m getting takeout, I’m asking for extra ranch and not just for the meal. I’m taking it home like it’s a souvenir. It’s creamy, flavorful and somehow makes everything taste like a better decision.

2. Ken’s Steak House
A solid, dependable choice. If Texas Roadhouse is weekend ranch, Ken’s is the “I need something good in my fridge at all times” ranch.

3. Wingstop
One word: yummy!!

4. Marco’s Pizza
Pizza dipped in ranch? Perfection.

5. Hidden Valley
The classic. It’s the ranch that raised a lot of us. Not always the most exciting, but always reliable. And the seasoning packets are a pantry must.
