The Perfect Pairing: Baseball and hot dogs. A new survey ranks Denver’s Coors Field among the best when it comes to hot dog size.
Online sports betting company BetUS wanted to find out where to find the largest hot dog in Major League Baseball, so they took a survey.
According to their findings, the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, has that honor. Since 2012, the home of the Texas Rangers has been offering fans a monstrosity of a wiener called the Boomstick Hot Dog. The 24-inch all-beef frank comes topped with chili and nacho cheese, costs a Texas-sized $32.96, and weighs in at over two pounds!
In a distant second place is the Baltimore Orioles’ $23 foot-long “Yard Dog,” which is technically three 12-inch hot dogs stacked in a pyramid on the bun, but not 36-inches of consecutive hot dog.
The Rockies and Coors Field in Denver did pretty good coming in at number seven with their 12 inch Rockie Dog.
