Starbucks Rewards introduces new tiers

Starbucks Rewards is getting a new look March 10!

As many restaurants and businesses continue to adjust their rewards programs to keep their most passionate customers coming, Starbucks is adjusting its program to “give you more benefits and flexibility” and will also launch “Free Mod Mondays”

The new tiers will be Green, Gold and Reserve. If you are currently a member using the app, your status will be revealed based on your 2025 membership, and you will have access to the new benefits on March 10.

The tier status will apply as follows:

Green Member:

  • Free reward on your birthday
  • 1 star earned per $1 spent
  • Stars stay active beyond six months

Gold member:

  • Seven days to redeem birthday rewards
  • 1.2 stars earned per $1 spent
  • Stars never expire
  • Four more double star days per year

Reserve Member:

  • 30 days to redeem birthday rewards
  • 1.7 stars per $1 spent
  • Stars never expire
  • Six more double star days per year
  • A free personalized reserve card
  • Access to merch shop and global coffee experience
