Some of the parents started yelling and talking trash to me…

Steve is 100% set that what she did was wrong. I know how I grew up it was super common for parents to do this. What do you think?

“My son is 12 and plays on his junior high’s basketball team. He had a game last Friday. The gym was packed and noisy because it was a tight game. One of his opponents was shooting a free throw when I yelled out ‘MISS’. The kid clanged the ball off the rim. Some of the parents started yelling and talking trash to me. They said it was wrong that I yelled out and caused the opposing player to miss. I disagree. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with showing my support and yelling out. They did because the kid is 12. That’s what being a fan is all about. They continued trash talking and insulting me even after the game and into the parking lot. Did I do anything wrong? The parents said I displayed poor sportsmanship”
