Colorado, pick your adventure, because this weekend came to play. We’ve got soapbox racing, hometown festival vibes, global food and music, and medieval magic. Here’s the quick rundown:

Red Bull Soapbox Race

The Red Bull Soapbox Race is back in Denver for the first time in 18 years! Watch homemade, non-motorized carts fly through turns, jumps and pure chaos at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday. It’s free to attend and no tickets are needed.

Parker Days

“Colorado’s Hometown Festival” is celebrating its 50th year with four days of carnival rides, food, music, a silent disco, crafts, bungy jumping and more on Mainstreet in Parker. The event runs Thursday through Sunday and is free to attend.

Colorado Renaissance Festival

Sound the trumpets! The Colorado Renaissance Festival is back on weekends through early August with jousting, comedy, artisans, turkey legs, costumes and medieval magic. Bonus: this year, they added a Ye Olde Hydration Station, which is huge because it gets hot and packed in the kingdom!
