Regal sells ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ handbag popcorn bucket

If you hear someone yelling “Take my money!” in the lobby this spring…it’s probably me. Regal theaters is leaning all the way into the fashion moment for “Devil Wears Prada 2” with a handbag-style popcorn bucket that is, honestly, fabulous. It’s a bold red and even comes with a collectible keychain featuring the iconic trident heel tied to the film. And because no movie accessory lineup is complete without a drink in hand, Regal will also be selling a limited-edition reusable cup. “Devil Wears Prada 2” hits theaters May 1, and tickets are already on sale. 

Confession: I’m a sucker for popcorn buckets. I have several of these collectible buckets already, and I get it!  They’re ridiculous, they’re fun and they’re basically a conversation piece you can display at home. Also, I actually use mine. A few have become storage for colored pencils, crayons and other little odds and ends around the house. Cute and practical? I love that.

But let me offer a friendly tip from someone who has learned this the hard way: if you love extra butter like I do, you may not want Regal to put the popcorn inside the handbag bucket. Because that butter? It is not playing around, and it can be surprisingly hard to wash out later. Still, will I be buying it? Yes. Without hesitation!
