Red Rocks concert canceled due to high winds. What you need to know.

A concert scheduled Saturday night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre has been canceled.

The performance from Australian house music producer Dom Dolla was canceled due to high winds and fire danger. Ticketholders will receive information via email, and refunds are available from the point of purchase.

After the cancellation, Dom Dolla scheduled a Saturday night show at Mission Ballroom. Ticketholders for the Saturday night Red Rocks show were given access to a password protected presale, prior to a public sale. Dom Dolla is also performing at Red Rocks on tonight, Friday.

Sunday’s performance by Daybreaker has been rescheduled to April 14. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.

A strong storm system is forecast to impact Colorado this weekend with gusty winds and high fire danger, along with rain, snow and colder temperatures in the western side of the state.

The Denver metro area could see winds of 60 to 70 mph on Saturday. Wind gusts could reach 90 to 100 mph in the foothills.
