If you’re struggling to hit your protein goals, your comfort food might be ready to lend a hand.
Kraft is rolling out a new, protein-focused take on its classic boxed mac and cheese. It’s called PowerMac, and it’s made with pea protein for a bigger nutrition boost without messing with the cozy, familiar vibe.
Here’s the quick breakdown: One serving has 17 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber. That’s a pretty solid upgrade for something most of us already keep in the pantry for busy nights.
PowerMac will come in two flavors – Original and White Cheddar – and it’s expected to hit stores nationwide in April.
So yes, your mac and cheese is about to have a little more muscle.
