Denver, CO — Whataburger, a Texas based burger chain, is expanding to a new area of Colorado, specifically closer to the Denver area. The chain has already made its way into the centennial state with locations in Colorado Springs.

Now, in 2024, Monument will welcome a new Whataburger location at 17889 Fat Tire Dr.

The new location will allegedly feature a double drive-thru and an outdoor dining area with a turf yard.

Owner of BurgerWorks, William Tamminga, weighed in saying, “With our unique outdoor dining area setting a new standard for the brand, we’re eager to transform this location into a vibrant gathering place, offering fresh, bold flavors alongside a warm, inviting space that truly fosters community spirit and extraordinary hospitality.”

The groundbreaking ceremony was today, Wednesday, Nov. 7 and the restaurant is slated to open in 2024.
