About Murphy

Murphy has been in radio for 30 years in Denver with 19 of those on-air with KOSI. He has been very active in the Denver community and holds the “7 Everyday Hero” award along with several others. For years, he was the face of the Colorado Lotto doing their drawings weekly on News 4. He thoroughly enjoys doing radio where his lone goal is to put a smile on someone’s face everyday. “If I can make your day a little better then I’m a happy man.”  He is truly a “HOMER” when it comes to the local sports teams and is still trying to figure out his golf game. Murphy is married to Carol and they have raised their 4 children here and now have 7 grandchildren.
