Miss Colorado makes history as first active service member to be crowned Miss America

Love all this! Congrats to Miss Colorado … now Miss America!!

Madison Marsh, a 22-year-old officer in the U.S. Air Force, has been crowned Miss America 2024. She is the first active duty service member to ever win the title.

Marsh expressed her excitement about representing women who can break stereotypes. She hopes one day to also become an astronaut.

In addition to her military background, Marsh is the founder of the Whitney Marsh Foundation, which raises money for oncology research. She is also a graduate intern at Harvard Medical School, where she hopes to utilize artificial intelligence to detect pancreatic cancer.

Congrats Madison and thank you for representing Colorado and all women so well!!
