Memorial Day flyovers to honor Colorado’s fallen service members

This Memorial Day, communities across Colorado will look to the sky in remembrance.
The Colorado Air National Guard announced that an F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 140th Wing will conduct flyovers Monday to honor the United States Armed Forces members who gave their lives in service to the country.
The Memorial Day tribute will include several locations across the state, including stops in the Denver metro area. It is a powerful way to pause, reflect and remember the brave men and women whose sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Here is the current flyover schedule:
- Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley – 10:12 a.m.
- Veterans Memorial Park, Silver Cliff – 10:36 a.m.
- Homelake Cemetery, Homelake – 10:43 a.m.
- Silverton Memorial Park, Silverton – 10:56 a.m.
- VFW Post 4031, Durango – 11:02 a.m.
- Nucla Cemetery, Nucla – 11:13 a.m.
- Western Colorado Veterans Cemetery, Grand Junction – 11:24 a.m.
- Town of Grand Lake, Grand Lake – 11:48 a.m.
- Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver – 11:58 a.m.
- Folsom Field, Boulder – 12:07 p.m.
The Colorado Air National Guard noted that all flyover times are subject to change depending on weather and operational requirements.
As families and communities gather this Memorial Day, these flyovers will serve as a moving reminder of the courage, service and sacrifice of America’s fallen heroes.
