Denver Broncos Drive For Life

2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Drive for Life, the Denver Broncos Community Blood Drive with Bonfils Blood Center and the largest single-day blood drive in the history of Colorado.

Over the last 19 years, approximately 34,500 donors have donated blood to support more than 103,500 patients through Drive for Life.

This year’s drive will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at Sports Authority Field at Mile High from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Silver Bell Ball to Raise Funds for Children Facing Trauma, Abuse or Neglect

Mount Saint Vincent, a leading provider of clinical treatment for children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges due to trauma, mental illness, abuse, or neglect, announced the dates of its 12th biannual Silver Bell Ball. The gala is slated for Saturday, November 11, 2017, at the Grand Hyatt Denver, located at 1750 Welton St. Denver, CO 80202.

The event will feature live and silent auctions, dinner, and a dessert reception.
More than 100 items will be up for bid in the live and silent auctions. Offerings include vacation getaways, behind-the-scenes tours, golf packages, and even a year’s supply of gourmet bacon. The winner of a raffle for a $10,000 cash prize will also be announced.
The proceeds from the evening go toward the clinical treatment and care of the children in treatment at Mount Saint Vincent. The agency’s 2015 gala raised more than $500,000.
Tickets for the raffle are $50; tickets to the gala are $300. Both are available for purchase at msvhome.org.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) announced its highly-anticipated 2017 Winter Tour. Over the past 20-plus years, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become a critically-acclaimed, multi-platinum, musical powerhouse, and its annual winter tours a beloved, multi-generational holiday tradition. 2017’s tour, a completely updated presentation of TSO’s unforgettable “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.”

TSO’s tour will be a celebration of the art and accomplishments of the lauded group’s late creator/composer/lyricist, Paul O’Neill, and his inimitable creation, which he dubbed “Rock Theater.” Prior to his untimely passing, O’Neill worked tirelessly with his close-knit team preparing an exciting new take on “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” for the 2017 tour. On November 18th at the Pepsi Center, fans will experience this exciting stage spectacle, including new awe-inspiring effects, and staging, certain to make the story even more engaging for fans.

Based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” the rock opera features such enduring fan-favorites as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” “Christmas Canon,” “Music Box Blues,” “Promises To Keep,” and “This Christmas Day.” 2017’s tour will also boast a rousing second set containing more of TSO’s greatest hits and fan-pleasers.
