Denver, CO — A well known favorite among the Denver locals will come to a close by the new ear. Sam’s No. 3 Diner. Although there are 2 other locations you can visit, this specific location has been apart of daily life for awhile.
In a facebook post, the diner announced it’s closure saying they thank the Aurora community for continuing to show support for over 25 years. Many community members have sent in support, saying they’ve made many memories in the resteraunt/bar over the years and will be sad to see it go.
“Sam’s No.3 name and foods have been a Denver staple since 1927 when Sam Armatas, an immigrant from Lefkada Greece, opened on Curtis Street in Downtown Denver,” the website writes.
To say your last goodbyes and show support to the Aurora diner, visit Sam’s No. 3 at 2580 South Havana Street Aurora, CO 80014.
